Comment: Launched kayak here predawn on Sunday, 8/1/2010. Heavy fog made it hard to see my friend in his yak 50 yards away. Landed a 15" bass and 18" pickeral on Zoom fluke (baby bass) within the first 15 minutes casting towards shore. Caught 3 more small bass before switching to craw apppy and moving towards center of pond. Landed 2 more decent bass around 8:15AM and then bite slowed. Lots of pickeral here. After sun up, they became very active and I had to put on steel leader to save lures. This place is active and fun. Even caught a yellow perch before calling it a day.
