Neodesha is located in SE Kansas in Wilson County and is south of Yates Center between Buffville and Sycamore along US Highway 75. Neodesha is also near Independence to the south and Elk City State Park. The Verdigris River and the Fall River converge SE of town. Tucked in the beautiful Osage Cuestas (rolling hills) with 36 inches of rain and 14 inches of snow yearly, Neodesha is nestled in a lush countryside with excellent conditions for all sorts of sports, especially water sports. It sits in a virtual paradise for hunters and fishermen.
